X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and while we accept new characters we strongly encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.

Check out the Wiki and the advertising community to see what's available. Readers are highly encouraged! If you're looking for X-Men based entertainment, X-Project welcomes you to read along and enjoy the ride!

I have been plagued by dreams - or more accurately, nightmares - of Tokyo burning. It is terrifying, the entire city up in flames. I first started having these dreams just while sleeping, but over the past week or two I have been seeing them even while awake. They are persistent and horrible. I cannot get it out of my head.

It makes me wonder, though, if they are more than just dreams. Visions of the future, perhaps? I do not know if I have developed precognition or if I am being visited by a warning spirit, but it makes me sure that something is going to happen and that I must do something to prevent it.

The staff can look forward to having a new pyrokinetic student this autumn. My sister manifested this afternoon, in a thankfully non-spectacular manner, at least compared to my own. The outside pool may require a change of water, though, unless anyone would like to swim in tepid water on a hot day. Angel, would you be so kind as to lend Leyu a set of your bedsheets until she can acquire her own fireproof linens and clothing?

Oh fuck you, Guthrie. What did you do to my room? You are a dead man.

There is a Gundam in Shiokaze Park.

A life-size Gundam.

I'm going to see if I can pilot it.

A classmate somehow lined up a job at Saatchi & Saatchi upon graduation. Another expects to receive an offer from Kaplan Thaler. And another, who barely scrapes by with a B average, has an interview with Pixar next week. DC Comics hasn't even replied to my CV which I sent three weeks ago.

Fuck. Them. All.

I have one semester remaining before I graduate university. What do I do after that?

I have functional sinuses that are not trying to explode through my face, and just in time for Christmas. Thank you, Santa.

It's a little late, but I've been too unconscious this weekend to think about it. This year, I am thankful for Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer. I think they may be responsible for keeping me alive through whatever disease I've caught.

Also Kleenex.

I can't concentrate on my homework. Fuck this. I'm going to fly around for a while. There had better be lots of candy and chocolate when I return.

We need to write proposals for our graphic novels next week. So while trying to find inspiration, I searched through the Great DVD Library of Alexandria Westchester, and watched Equilibrium last night. There's nothing like a Matrix knockoff/violent anti-Christian polemic starring Batman to fuel the fires of creativity.

I have to create a graphic novel this year for one of my classes. I'm tempted to write about a team of outcast super heroes. There would probably be giant robots involved, because that's more fun than renegade militaries or even mad scientists.

I'm ill. Either I caught the flu (in Japan in May?), or I was overly anxious about the meeting I had with my father's attorney yesterday to discuss issues of inheritance. Namely, now that I am of age, how much of his estate is now mine.

I have never seen that many zeros before.
x_sunfire: (hi)
I never thought that I would regret not being on drugs anymore.

I do not like Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. I've met him, and he's . . . I think the proper English term is "douche bag." Some physical violence on his person is warranted.

On the other hand, I hardly think that China is in the place to talk about atrocities committed against innocent civilians. I'd be more inclined to urge Abe to retract his ignorant and awful statement last week about comfort women if China did not lead the world in human rights violations.

So. Final Harry Potter party in July?
x_sunfire: (Default)
There's a Playstation 3 in the lounge? Thank you, Ladies Crystal and Medusa. That's the second best gift I received this year.

Merry Christmas, you silly monotheists.

I really don't like being threatened, even if it's some candystriper offering me the ultimatum of either going to bed now or joining the next batch of white people off the island. And I can only stand so many white people at a given time, so I suppose that I should follow her orders.

(That was an attempt at a joke, by the way. I'm not sure if the humor came through, but it's there.)

And Mr. Summers, still nothing. Anything on your end?
x_sunfire: (i can do puppy-dog eyes too)
My sister has been pestering me about building gingerbread houses like she did last year. For the sake of my sanity and the lack of burning things, someone go placate her. You really don't want me baking, I assure you. There will be more fire than I could cause on purpose.
